Time travel to the future

 If I had to travel to the future, I wouldn't like to go too far, I'm scared that humanity had gone the wrong way and that we're doomed already. By that I mean we'll probably have drinking water shortage, the temperature will rise, the oceans will also rise it's levels and many animal species will cease to exist. 

That's why I would only go as far as to January of 2022 so I can finally have time to rest and enjoy my hobbies. Hopefully I'll be able to go to the beach with my friends and later with my family too.

I would prefer to be able to travel to the past and the future as well, just to enjoy some moments again since I don't think I can change something, it would be a paradox or I maybe I would just change of timeline, leaving behind the one I knew.
